Life Camp is one of the early temporary residential communities built at the beginning of the major civil construction work that started in Abuja some 20+ years ago. It is a base to construction giants Julius Berger and Setraco. Also in the area is a depot of Flour Mills Plc of Nigeria and Efab Housing Estate.
Driving down to Life Camp with Fasubah, an helpful young architect of the developers who was to be my guide, it was clear the area is undergoing some major construction projects with giant blocks of real estate along the highway leading in and at the place itself were dirt roads on the verge of being transformed for civilised living.
Diamond Court is being developed by Diamond Properties Ltd. It is a developing residential estate of 43 units of four bedroom terrace houses with boys(housekeeper's) quarters. The Estate facilities includes: 1. A swimming pool
2. Borehole/Overhead water tank
3. Standby Integrated Electric Generator
4. Paved walkway with street lights
5. Ample Parking spaces
6. Split air conditioners and more The price is ₦39m each. We arrived at the site at about 4:30pm amidst some golden sunshine,light clouds and some gentle breeze. Before the tour Fasubah introduced me to the Managing Director of DPD Sani Mustapha.
