Amen Estate - a dream Investment in luxurious Lagos property
My Aunty Bunmi who turned 40 last month works for one of Nigeria's big oil companies. She is being posted to Lagos from Abuja at her own request so we went on a property hunt. Initially, she was only looking for something reasonable to rent maybe on the Island or Lekki Phase 1 until she discovered Amen Estate.

Aunt Bunmi is not easily pleased and has a very conscientious personality, if she is going to do something, she is the type that wants it done well. Money is not really the issue but she hates being taken for granted or lack of professionalism in business. She is a real hard worker who likes a good investment and doing business with good people. All she wants is a good home for herself and her family and to leave something behind for her kids. My aunty is married and has two kids both in London studying for their degrees. Her husband uncle Segun is a business man. After getting in touch with Redbrick Homes International, the developers/owners of the property, we booked an appointment for a viewing. Amen Estate is situated in the heart of the Lekki peninsula on Eleko beach road off Lagos/Epe expressway. When approaching the estate, the first thing you notice is the well manicured and sizeable front lawn and how green it looks. The trees and grass looked exactly like the species commonly found in England. The type that grows in cooler temperatures. Our first impression was very good seeing such an aesthetic landscape.

We entered through the main gates and drove along the main road. I could tell my aunty was already warming to the idea of buying but we were still yet to be convinced because we hadn't seen inside any of the houses yet or know how much they cost. As we approach the owners house/office my aunty said Toye, I can see the potential of this place. I like the structures hope the insides are just as nice.

We arrived at the owners house, Mr Tunde Gbadamosi, managing director of RedBrick Homes International ltd. We were greeted warmly and asked to sit down as he was dealing with a client. A good looking couple based in Holland, turned out they had just signed a cheque for ₦ 15.5 million as deposit on a six(Afin) and five(agbala) bedroom detached mansions with BQ. The viewing commenced with the owner showing us inside the six bedroom detached mansion(Afin). This is also where he lives.
