Nigeria Money Transfers.

Use a Nigeria Money transfers service that offer you secure transactions, low transfer fees, say about 5%, the best exchange rates and uncomplicated Identity requirements. We've all heard stories of relatives having problems getting their money because of ID problems.

Most transfers occur through banks or Money Transfer Providers( MTPs) like Western Union, MoneyGram or Travelex. MTPs offer the best service for transferring small to medium size amounts because they have a larger network of receiving agents in Nigeria and transfers take less than 24hrs. For example Travelex has more than 200 receiving outlets at Union bank or Afribank in Nigeria.

On the other hand bank's electronic SWIFT service or bank drafts are better if sending larger amounts. They offer more secure transfers and charges for larger amounts is relatively lower. However, money transfers with banks can take up to 5 days.

To send money visit the high street branch of your bank or MTPs. Sending agents can be found at newsagents or local shops. Visit their website to find a sending agent in your area.

Alternatively, some providers like Cashmo enable you to transfer money online or by SMS. But firstly, you need to register and deposit funds in their account. Cashmo specialises in Europe to Africa transfers and are regulated by the UK Treasury.
