Is Nigeria trade your secret to wealth?

Recently in Nigeria trade in manufactured goods like electrical appliances, cars or industrial machinery have done really well and continue to do so. Nigeria has a very high population but the manufacturing sector is small.

I had a chat with a local business man with a printing business once. He said to me " if you bring s*it into Lagos it will sell". I thought that was funny. But the country exports oil and some agricultural products then imports virtually everything else.

Nigerians want companies to establish their manufacturing base in their country to help grow the sector. Some shrewd business people are doing just that. A growing manufacturing base will increase trade in non oil products with other African countries and the rest of the world. That would make us all even wealthier.

Manufacturers and Capital Goods Traders.

You can build a page on this site to let people know what you do. Tell everyone about your manufacturing business and how to contact you.

Name your page. E.g I make car engines in Nigeria.
