Real Estate in Nigeria....Banana Island Lagos

Banana Island is part of Ikoyi and has to be my favourite of all the locations that I have visited so far. Why? I currently live on the mainland in Surulere and won’t contemplate going bike riding in the fumes of all those traffic whilst trying to avoid Okada(ha!).

At Banana Island I witness plenty of free roads lined with trees or green shrubs( some maintenance will be good here) with no cars around. But the thing I am most impressed about is the underground cabling. I mean the beauty of so many streets or residential areas in Nigeria are spoilt with unplanned networks of electric wires going from pole to pole. Not very nice.

Generally, Banana Island offers unspoilt open space and the best mega structures anywhere and like Lekki there are still plenty of building projects going on. find properties on banana island
