Over 1 month ago, a man named Chris emailed me, on Myspace, saying he came across my photo. He shot out the same thing, "Oh, you are beautiful,I love you, etc.." He is in Lagos, Nigeria, supposedly on business. He tells me he is a widow with a 13 year old son. He claims to be Russian.
About a week ago, he asked me to send him $250 stating his son was sick, and he needed the money to pay the MD bill, then it changed to he need the money for getting his goods so he could leave the country. I was almost fooled by it. The sexy accent and me being as lonely as I am. It can really take you in,ladies.. BE CAREFUL.

we work in the same place by: LINDA
I and Harry wall happen to work in the same place.i understand your anger, but the truth is how would you feel if someone related you to a scammer?even when ur identity was stolen.I told him about it.And all he said was you should delete this if you can.Cos wouldnt be funny if his family comes across it.THanks for your understanding. And if i were you,you can post the picture of the so called scammer on the scammers page.that would be more helpful.

Harry Wall by: Rosemary
Janet,
Thank you for your comment. The man I was speaking of isn't Harry Wall. It's someone else. Do you live overseas or in the States? I
If you are implying that I posted false information about someone on the internet you are mistaken! The situation I described happens all the time, everyday. I don't post things of this nature without concrete facts!

This is what happened to me Rosemary by: Anonymous
Rosemary,I know what you are talking about........ this guys name was Harry Wall hahahaha yeah right and I'm the Queen of England. I met him on a sight much like the one you are talking about but, that site has as of today closed his account and removed him.But I know there is nothing stopping him from coming back on the site as someone else, that is definately a problem. He said he was from ashton-under-lyne UK. He started saying he loved me in only a few days also and he said he wanted us to have a son and he wanted his son to look like me and we were going to get married etc. Then he said he had to go to Cameroon for a job he was about to do. He said he was going to have to leave his 10 yr old daughter with a nanny. Well after he supposedly got there , his daughter got sick and he said the nanny didn't have enough funds for the dr and medication. He said he was at his wits end because he couldn't send money out of there because of the laws concerning money laundering etc in Africa( he said he was in Africa but he was actually in Nigeria)So the crazy man asked me for TWO THOUSAND dollars ummmmmmm wait a minute let me think NO I don't think so hahahaha. He said he and his 10 yr old daughter had already booked a flight here to meet me and my parents and family as soon as he's finished drilling for oil and he would send me the funds as soon as he returned to London hahaha or he would bring them with him when he came over and again i say hahahahaha. well today he said he hit oil, hahaha yeah right. Somehow he sent a bogus confirmation letter from British Airways to confirm he was booked on the flight here on Oct.18th, but I didn't believe him so I contacted the airlines. They are in the process of letting me know if this email was sent from their customer service dept or if it is fraudulent. They have since issued me a reference number for this issue, so I am sure it is fraudulent. How he managed it, I don't know but he did and the email came to me as though it was coming from British Airways.
I knew when he came on to me like he did that he was at some point going to ask me for money so I just let him go and played along and sure enough HE DID. I pretended like i was going to send it to him, but then i kept making up excuses as to why i didn't and today I finally left him an offline msg letting him know i was aware of what he was trying to do. And yes like you, we talked online ,emailed and talked on the phone and omg I loved his voice hahahaha. The photo he had as his was very good looking too, but i knew it was not his photo well I guess I should say I believed that it wasn't, so I asked him to go on cam so i could see him and he had a million excuses as to why he couldn't of course. I hope this helps other women to think before they do something very stupid. WOMEN DO NOT SEND MEN MONEY ON THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HELLO NEVER.
So take care Rosemary.......good job.
